Exciting Summer Camp project begins!

One of the exciting projects to end an eventful 2013 is the Summer Elephant Camp. This camp adjoins the overnight boma’s and will enable the elephants free choice of movement overnight between the boma and the open air camp whilst still allowing us access to monitor them for safety and health reasons. Part of the process of creating the Summer Camp is the removal of the “dung compost” pile that has accumulated over the past 6 years. The scale of the dung pile is enormous! It has been a very busy, exciting and productive 2013!
