HELP US TO HELP THOSE IN NEED

We have an incredible team of close to 100 people, most of whom we had no option but to send home when the country went into lockdown 22 days ago and we had to close our doors. We have only been able to keep a small group of essential staff to continue caring for the elephants as well as a few staff from AERU – African Elephant Research Unit (PBO #9300 44259) as they continue to gather valuable research.

We are facing a very harsh reality that we won’t be receiving an income for the foreseeable future as #COVID19 continues to spread across the globe.

We are optimistic that travel will bounce back but the question is when? And until it does it is having a major impact on our staff who are unable to work. The hospitality and tourism industries have been hit hard by the ever-growing pandemic and it creates a lot of uncertainty for our future and our staff.

To those who can and are in a position to contribute, we would like to ask for your support in putting together a fund which will be allocated towards purchasing vouchers and food parcels for our staff and their families.

Without our staff and your unwavering support during the last 25 years, we wouldn’t be where we are today. We are more than just a park … We are a family.

If you would like to contribute towards the fund you can use the link below and enter the amount you wish to give; please use KEP Family + Name and Surname (e.g ‘KEP Family Sally the Elephant’) as your reference.
